The Addiction of Harry Potter

I admit I am addicted to the Harry Potter books. I just finished #4, only starting the series in late August. I can't wait to get on to 5, then 6, then 7, then...done. I have seen the movies through 5, but the books are more detailed, more interesting. I guess that is my passion about film and literature. The differences. I love them. I seek out inconsistencies in works, sometimes in life. Sometimes too much. There comes a time when it really doesn't matter that things aren't exactly the same day to day. I am breathing, relaxing and letting go of that investigative nature all the time. There will be times that I will be vigilant, but mostly I'm learning to use Yoga terms such as breathe and Namaste. Tranquility is better than chaos any day.

This morning I woke up snuggled under a blanket with Roger as a cool, dry breeze blew in the window. It was paradise. Coffee, birthday wishes to Paul and the end of Harry Potter 4 have all rounded out this peaceful beautiful morning. I guess the right kind of addictions, the ones that I can share with Roger and that don't cause self-destruction, can be a positive thing. Hopefully, I won't be too disappointed when it all ends.

Have a fun, peaceful Saturday with people you love, I hope.
