Today, Obama becomes the President of the United States. I am in awe and wonder at the election of Barack Obama. It is wonderful. I couldn't be happier. This is one of those times when I feel that I made a difference in an election and couldn't be more elated. Today we celebrate a new President, a new course for our country and the possibilities for leadership in the future.
And, we get to enjoy all the coverage all day. ODU has cancelled class for winter weather. We have no snow yet, and could get a couple of inches. I don't know why classes were cancelled, but they were.
With no cable television, we'll be tuning in to ABC for the coverage. I wish I could express how I am feeling...but it is indescribable.
