Doug has been one of my closest friends since we both moved here in 2001. We have spent many hours together, sometimes doing nothing. He is family to me. He is moving next week, back to Iowa. He wants to be near his nephew while he grows up. Being an auntie and grandma, I can understand. I will miss him very much. The past couple of years we haven't spent too much time together, but anytime we talk it is like we were just hanging out yesterday. I love that about our friendship. Good luck, Doug! You'll be missed by many!
