Crosby, Stills and Nash

We had a really fun time at the Crosby, Stills and Nash concert. Roger and I did miss Young, a little, but were pleasantly surprised by the song line-up of the concert. I had forgotten how political they were in protesting the war, then the Vietnam war, and now the war in Iraq. Songs they wrote 40 years ago were as contemporary as some they wrote a few years ago. No More War!

Of course, they did play crowd favorites: Love the One You're With, Our House, Teach Your Children Well, and my very, very favorite Southern Cross. I am still in awe of how good their voices are, especially in harmony together. And David Crosby has a beautiful, sweet and haunting singing voice. Wow! I really enjoyed the concert, and the company. Thanks Dawn for taking Jennie, Roger and I; and thanks Jeff for the tickets!
