Spring Break

We start break today. I am excited to have one week where I don't have to go to class. I still have lots of work to do. I have to finish up a brochure for Dr. Kerner. I have to generate some ideas for thesis topics. I have to watch lots of International films and get ahead on those. I have to find research on German films, Tom Tykwer in particular. I'd like to finally finish the Shultz/Peanuts biography. I want to start the John Irving book Roger just finished so we can discuss it. We rented the entire first season of "The Tudors" and have six nights to watch all 8 episodes. I am most excited about my pedicure on Wednesday, courtesy of Dawn, with Jennie. I think that will be a nice relaxing time. We also have trips to the Habitat for Humanity second hand store to get rid of more stuff. I am sure there will be a few hot and sweaty games of Rock Band. The worst is going to the DMV so Roger can register to vote, again. There were so many problems last year and his voter registration was not issued. We hope to clear that up next week.

So, while not much vacation, it is still nice to have a break. I look forward to finishing the semester and getting ready to teach in the fall. This teaching experience will solidify (hopefully) that I am on the right track for my future career. If not, I guess I will have to work to figure it out.
