We are back safe and sound. We had a great time in Salt Lake City. We did a lot of walking. We found some great restaurants. Roger had a good conference. He was told more than once that he will be able to choose his job when he graduates in 2009. He was given an award for future leaders. He is well regarded by his colleagues. It was so fun to see him in his element. he made a great presentation. Here a couple of pictures. I am sure I'll get more on later.
At the University of Utah. This is where they had the opening and closing ceremonies of the 2002 Winter Olympics. Salt Lake City is quite proud of its Olympics. The city is nice and clean and feels very safe.
On our first anniversary. We are at the Blue Iguana, which had the best chili appetizer and very good margaritas. Happy Anniversary to us!
Erica, Roger and Maurice at the train stop at the University of Utah. Maurice is one of Roger's cohorts. We had a nice day of sight seeing. It was fun to hang out with them. Hopefully, we can do it sometime here in Norfolk. It seems kind of silly to go across the country to hang out. They like movies, so maybe some trips to the Naro are in the future.

cool trip ... and i apologize now for being SOOOOOOO late for your anniversary!! i just can't get caught up on cards this month...when i do get caught up, i'm going to start being like 3 weeks ahead!
