Last night we took a break from homework and went to Brad and Andrea's for Andrea's 30th birthday party. We had a great time. It is always fun to catch up with people we don't see very often, Doug & Greta, Mel & Tony (and meeting Jenny), Jes & Mike, Tana and Ryan (and meeting Hanah), as well as seeing people I see more often, Dawn, Jeff & Mike. It is also good to hang out with Brad and Andrea and receive wet kisses from Sammy. And of course it is always fun to eat. I hope it was a nice celebration of Andrea's turning 30. It was a needed and welcomed break for Roger and I for sure.
This is a short week which is nice, but that means an extra day for homework. I am realizing the difference between 3 undergraduate courses versus 3 graduate courses a semester. Only 3 full semesters left after this one...yeah!
