For the first time in two weeks, I feel like I have a second to breathe, and write a quick note.
I've been working for Dawn and Dr. Heller; I have been working on projects for all three of my graduate school classes; I have been traveling with the speech team to judge tournaments. I have not been keeping up on blogging or corresponding; I have not been cooking or cleaning; I have not been doing laundry--Roger has been picking up the slack...THANK YOU!! I have in this time been able to keep up with my homework and even finish a Dean Koontz novel (trashy novel, yeah!).
So, today. I am making a huge trek to the grocery store. I need to get the ingredients for Andrea's favorite Texas Sheet Cake (my favorite, too) and for our contributions to Thanksgiving dinner (corn casserole, pumpkin pudding, spicy cranberry relish and some things for later in the evening) as well as for the rest of the week.
Tomorrow is Andrea's 30th Birthday Party! Yeah!! I haven't even been able to connect with her on the phone for the past week since she turned 30, but it will be fun to play games and get together at her house. The rest of this weekend is about homework. Roger and I both have substantial papers due Monday and of course the rest of the semester's work is due over the next 3 weeks. I can't believe my first sememester of full time graduate school is almost over. I am relieved to know that I am worthy of being in grad school and I am excited for next semester. I can't wait to take a class from my old Superheroes teacher. I am looking forward to the end of art projects for awhile.
So, on to lists for the grocery store(s). Have a great weekend before Thanksgiving.
