Today we had a preview of our Fridays at the beach. We took the bikes down and road along the boardwalk. It was a gorgeous day. It was over 80 degrees, so lots of people were hanging out at the beach. We had a lot of fun. I don't think we'll bike when it is in full season. And a large, loud group of kids reminded us why we don't teach middle school. We checked out the bike trail at First Landing State Park for another day.
We just got home and are having strawberry slushes...mmm...very refreshing after being outside all afternoon. Can't wait until it is time to get to the beach on Fridays and get in the water.
