I thought I would take a minute for an update of the Schmid happenings.
Nikki has been working hard to finish school this summer. At the end of the summer, she will have earned her Bachelor's Degree. We will head to Minneapolis/St. Paul for a graduation bash over Labor Day weekend. It will be fun to get together again. I am so proud of her. She has had to work very hard at school while teaching 4-year olds at Head Start. I could never do it!
Dad, true to form, was sick for his spring break. His curling team is doing well. Last time I spoke with him, he was hammering in some trim work.
Mom is doing well. She is patiently waiting for her new hardwood floors. She has gotten the furniture recovered and has all the trim work ready for the floors. They have painted. I think, except for the original 50's bathrooms, the house will be done. I can't wait to see it in December.
They all seem happy and healthy. It is good to know your family is doing well. We support each other. We have a good family. I love you, Schmid's.

Uncle Bob went out to visit Grandma yesterday.
