I have been a Mets fan for almost as long as I have been a baseball fan. Before that, I was a Twins fan (briefly). I am not one of those fair weather fans who jumped on the Mets bandwagon with David Wright, I know a few of those. I am a true Mets fan. So I am excited they have acquired Santana a pitcher from the Twins. I am sorry for Roger for he is a HUGE Twins fan and will miss the great pitching, but am happy for me and my team.
We have a Santana action figure. Maybe I can fashion a Mets shirt for him to wear?
Bring on the 2008 MLB Season!

so it's not the mets, but perhaps this summer i can brave the georgia heat and enjoy the augusta greenjackets! =)
