Disappointments

Another disappointment in the world of sports. Marion Jones confessed to doping while in the Olympics. I am disgusted by this. These athletes have worked hard with their talents and then throw their image, reputation and possibly medals away to run a little faster, hit the ball a little harder, wrestle a little meaner and for what end. I think Jones and Bonds and anyone caught doping (cheating) should not only surrender any medals or titles, but any money they have won should be paid back. Nike should be able to recoup every dollar ever paid to Jones as breech of contract. So, if the athletes don't care what the public thinks about their reprehensible actions, maybe breaking their banks might help deter some 10 year old from starting up. I have given up watching the Tour de France. I cheered against Bonds breaking any records. I loathe Mark Maguire and Sammy Sosa for their idiotic testimonies in front of Congress. Now, Marion Jones, one of those female athletes I thought were good role models, deserves jail time and loss of all money she earned as an athlete. She, and the others, are not athletes, they are cheaters. I'll not forget and its doubtful I will forgive. Shame on them, and shame on all the ones who haven't gotten caught. I hope they do.
